Seminar topic: July 2016 Show & Tell
The Northern Lakes Coin and Currency Club
wishes to invite club members and new guests interested in the hobby to attend the monthly meeting on
Monday, July 18th, 7:00 PM in the YMCA at 400 River Road.
Due to my hectic schedule recently, instead of a seminar, we will be having a Show & Tell, which means everyone should bring one or more items that they have that might be interesting,
unique, different, or maybe just because it’s your favorite coin or other Numismatic item.
Last time we did this, there were
some fun things to look at and we all enjoyed the stories that
everyone told about their treasures!

Seminar June: Greetings! Our next meeting/annual picnic.
Greetings!
Our next meeting/annual picnic is this coming Monday, June20th, at 6:30, at our meeting location in the Grand Rapids YMCA Building at 400 River Road. Please remember that the time is 6:30 and not 7:00 like our normal meetings. The Club will provide the hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, plates and utensils. Our Master Chef, Casey Renslow, will once again be providing his barbecue grilling talents, so please be sure to attend. You should bring your own non-alcoholic beverages, as well as something to share such as chips, salads, cookies, desserts, etc. There will also be bid boards for silent auction items. If you plan to sell something that evening, please try to give me an idea what you will be selling prior to 3:00 on Monday. The proceeds of anything you sell can either go entirely to you, donated entirely to the Club, or split in any percentage between you and the Club. If you plan to attend or are bringing guests with you, please email me or call me 244-9299 so we can get a better head count for buying the food items.
The Picnic and bid boards will start at 6:30, but anyone planning on selling bid board items should be there by 6:00 or earlier, to allow time to get everything set up.
